Weather Station - rain gauge, originally uploaded by fotobydave.

The little scoops will receive the water and then fall down. Each time it tips over .01 inch of rain has occurred. It is mounted on a plywood base and the pvc end. The cover is in back.

Love Park is a small St Louis County Park in West County. It has a couple of shelters, playground, ball parks and one short trail. Altho it is small, it quite nice.

The trail head (or tail) travels up the top of the hill and back down between the play area and Muffin Shelter. Not too difficult but a few trees have fallen across the trail and you will need to step over them. The pups and me walked it about 15 min ... we don't walk very fast!

This park was full of activity... with sword fighting in one spot, birthday party going full blast, several ball games on the many ball fields and multiple celebrations!

This area is waking up again after the cold weather took its toll It is used for weddings and other gatherings.
