I did get a few shots a little closer!

Eagle's mate for life and build their nest over time. They can become very large. This area, St Louis, rarely have nest ... they come here for the winter ... to frolic in the hot weather and sunshine(giggle). If you hail from Canada, you have a different perspective!

Eagles in the wild are viewed at a distance. Most of my shots were specs in the distance, so this is better than most! :)

These remnents from spring always attract my attention when I'm looking for fotos. The blue sky sets them off.

It is early Sunday morning and I am ready to search for eagles along the banks of the Mississsippi River near Alton, IL. Wish me luck!

I decided to hike up this bare hill ... boy was it tough! Ok, so I lied ... what is it, then!?

Flowers of the winter are displayed at the end of my fingers. I am tired of the brown fotos I see in my stream, so I had to get some color.

I loaded this yester day and deleted it ... wonder if I can change the date!

Is this a squirrel or robber? Both you say! :) Just can't keep a good squirrel down. Altho he ran before I could get real close. Had to crop the image, even with a 400 ml lens.

It was sooo pretty ... then the strawberry slid off! It was still very good!

This week's "a photo a week project". With temp ranging from 5 F to 71 F, the weather changing from day to day.

Even the morning dove is waiting for spring! Of course they are always waiting for something ... if not on the ground, then on the wire.

Notice this plant edging up from the ground, uncovered it a little and a few days later it is really growing. Today with temps below 10 F, it is covered and waiting for the next over 70 F day.

I walked outside with my long telephoto and he jumped up on the phone wire. After I went back inside, he returned to the fence and sat there for a long time.

It was cold today ... 5 F last night! This guy should up and sat on our fence for at least 30 minutes.

Warm weather and I set up my long tele and get ready to shoot the birds when they arrive at the local feeder. Missy wanders over and prunes herself underneath the feeder. Since no birds show up I spend the time shooting her.
